  18. Play it Cool is a QuickTime movie player and simple movie editor. 
  19. It is a ‘fat application’ — it contains code for both 680x0 Mac and Power Mac computers.

  21. It plays all types of QuickTime movies — Video, MIDI, Sound, Text, Sprite — separately or in combination.

  24. 68020 computer or higher with hard disk and at least 1 MB available RAM.
  25. System 6.0.7 — System 7.5 preferred.
  26. QuickTime — Version 2.1 preferred.

  29. Smoothest movie playing of any movie player because:
  30.     - PowerPC native application calling QuickTime PowerPlug
  31.     - Sets monitor to best depth
  32.     - Loads movie into RAM
  33.     - ‘Prerolls’ movie — i.e. loads the start of a movie for smooth playback

  36.     - Ignores background applications
  37.     - Blacks out all attached monitors
  38.     - Uses hardware scaling if supported

  48. These are self-playing movies which are double-clickable from the Finder.

  83.   • removes the shareware notice at startup,
  84.   • enables you to save movies,
  85.   • enables you to copy movies between applications,
  86.   • enables you to open up to 20 movies at a time,
  87.   • enables you to build Movie-Applications from edited movies.
